How to connect your Joy-Cons to your iPhone or iPad?
Before you begin, make sure your device is updated to the latest version of iOS, or at least iOS 16. This is essential to be able to pair your Joy-Cons.
Also, make sure your Joy-Cons are fully charged and ready to connect. Once everything is good, follow these simple steps:
1. Prepare your Joy-Cons for pairing:
Press and hold the SYNC button on the top of the Joy-Cons (it's the small black button) until the green light starts flashing. When it flashes rapidly, your Joy-Con is ready to connect.
2. Activate Bluetooth on your iPhone or iPad:
Go to Settings > Bluetooth on your iPhone or iPad.
Connect your Joy-Cons:
- Scroll down to the "Other Devices" section. You should see either "Joy-Con (L)" or "Joy-Con (R)" appear, depending on which one you want to connect.
- Touch the Joy-Con you want to pair and repeat the process for the other Joy-Con if necessary.

Tip: It's often best to connect both Joy-Cons, as many mobile games use both. Playing with a single horizontal Joy-Con is quite rare.
Playing with your Joy-Cons on iPhone or iPad

How to Disconnect Your Joy-Cons from Your iOS Device

Go back to Settings > Bluetooth , then tap the blue information icon (i) next to your Joy-Con's name, and select "Disconnect ." You can reconnect your Joy-Cons the next time you want to play.
