This Crazy Skullz custom PS4 back shell is only compatible with PS4 V2 controller models - JDM 040 and JDM 050 (JDM 040 / JDS 055 being the motherboard model of the controller, checkable once your PS4 controller is disassembled). How to differentiate it from a PS4 controller of a previous generation? Just look at the front of your touchpad. If the Pad displays a light bar then this shell is compatible with your controller. You can also look at the label located on the back of your controller, if the code displayed starts with "ZCT2", such as ZCT2U, ZCT2N, ZCT2J, etc. then you are sure that it is a PS4 V2 controller compatible with our custom PS4 shells.
