It's no longer a secret: Fortnite Battle Royale will have its first major LAN in France, specifically at Lyon eSport 2018! The 25 available slots were snapped up in seconds. The Fortnite craze is still in its infancy, yet everything suggests it has a bright future ahead of it. And to top it all off, 25 additional slots have just been announced.

We present to you Yo Gaming 's highly promising Fortnite team, which Draw My Pad will co-sponsored in partnership with the news platform of the same name as the organization. The Fortnite team consists of four players, all from different games. Some of the names will surely ring a bell if you play games like CS:GO or LoL... Discover them in an exclusive interview!

Hello Jordan, it is with great pleasure that I meet you for this new adventure. I will let you introduce yourself to the community:
(editor's note: the interview was conducted by Romain Lelong, manager of the company Draw my Pad , who worked together for several years on CS:GO).
"Hello, let me introduce myself, my name is Jordan, better known in-game as ShiNg, I'm 25 years old and I've been a PC gamer since I was very young. As you already know, I played Counter Strike for over 10 years, mainly competitively, I have quite a few LAN games under my belt too."
Why did you choose to switch to Fortnite?
.“I’ve always been drawn to FPS in general, whether on PC or console, that’s why I naturally turned to a game like Fortnite, which represents for me, along with PUBG, the future of eSports on Battle Royale!”
Tell me about your organization, what do you represent within it, what are your expectations?
“I am the captain of the Yo Gaming team, which will be present at Lyon eSport. We have been training with the team for almost a month.
We are investing a lot to be able to hope to achieve a podium, we have a fairly consistent playing rhythm, we have a schedule for our training, a detailed monitoring of each game, we try as much as possible to minimize the luck factor for this LAN and hope to see the fruits of our efforts pay off.
Any last words for the Fortnite community? "Don't hesitate to come check us out during the launch, we'd be delighted!"

Hi Bryan, just like Jordan I'll let you introduce yourself to the Fortnite community:
"Yo! I'm Bryan, I'm 24 years old. As for me, I'm a big fan of online gaming. I started on MMOs with World of Warcraft before bleeding out the other Blizzard licenses and discovering MOBAs. I'm completely hooked on League of Legends, I spent many hours of games breaking Nexus and killing Nashors!"
Explain to me, you're going from LoL to Fortnite, that's quite surprising, isn't it?
"Not really, my first FPS was Halo, it's a license I was a big fan of back when Bungie was running the show! I stumbled upon Fortnite by chance, I wanted to try Battle Royale, so I took advantage of the game being free to start my first game. I told Shing about it, we immediately took a liking to the game! That's when we started to try hard, which allowed us to meet Melki who followed us in the adventure and HrN afterwards."
What are your expectations for this first big Fortnite event, Lyon eSport?
"We hope to at least make it to the podium this LAN, even though it's a first for me. We're definitely trying to make the most of our training by tracking our games. As you can see, we're trying hard!"

Thibault “Melkichedek” Robine
Hello Thibault, you're the youngest member of the team from what I understand, tell us a little about your background?
"Hi! My name is Thibault and yes, as you mentioned, I'm 19, so I'm the youngest. As for me, I've been playing since I was 10, first on single-player games like Metroid Prime, then later, around the age of 11, I moved on to FPS games like COD where I started to get interested in competition. After that, I quickly moved on to League of Legends and Counter Strike because, let's face it, they were the most popular competitive games!"
You seem like a pretty versatile player, is that why you decided to move towards a game like Fortnite?
"Yes, that's exactly it. I heard about Fortnite when its Battle Royale was created. That's when I met Dr0p, shiNg, and HrN. Since then, we've been training very regularly as a team and rigorously to develop our teamplay. We're going to give it our all to try to win the Lyon Esport! Even if the important thing is to participate!"
Yoann “HrN” Herth
Hello Yoann, unlike Melki you are a bit like the dad of the team, besides I understood that you have a lot of experience in LAN, is that right?
"Hello everyone, I'm Yoann, I'm 29 years old. I've been a gamer since I was 15 and I did my first LAN in 2007 at the Gamers Assembly on Day of Defeat Source and since then I've never let go of FPS. As you said, I have more than ten LANs to my credit, whether on DODS or CS Source."
Little peculiarity: you play with your brother, how does it go?
"Yes, it's precisely thanks to him that I joined the Fortnite adventure. He's the one who pushed me to play and I was immediately hooked because the graphics strongly reminded me of those of Team Fortress 2, which I played for a lot of time."
What do you expect from Fortnite?
"For me, this game is a new experience in my gaming career, and above all, it's the opportunity to continue playing with my brother. We'll see a little more clearly after Lyon eSports what the future holds for us!"
